Silent Hill Becomes Part of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Event

Horror video game and motion picture franchise, Silent Hill, becomes part of Halloween Horror Nights. Guests looking to be tormented by horrifying creatures from an alternate dimension, including the iconic deformed nurses and the executioner, should put this one on their list of must-see Halloween thrills.  Step into the psychologically-charged and disturbing, ash-covered town of Silent Hill – a place where reality gives way to other dimensions. It’s a demonic world where the physical laws of nature no longer apply and nightmarish monsters abound.  Characters try to escape back to the safety of reality but constant brutal attacks by disjointed, knife-wielding beings make survival seem impossible.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights events have been around for more than 20 years now, stepping beyond the predictable scare parks to include what scare fans expect — the unexpected. Universal has capitalized on its extensive collection of film productions for material in previous haunts, but 2012 marks the first year for a partnership with a video game property.
