Anyone who’s worked in a kitchen for long hours can testify that it’s not always the healthiest situation. Chef Leah Delyte Di Bernardo, owner of E.A.T. Marketplace in Temecula, California says, “When your hands are covered in gorgeous gooey chocolate – being good is a challenge.” She wanted to feel better and maybe lose a little weight so she went to a feel better pro, Dr. Terry Rondberg, who invited her to accept a 30-day wellness challenge from the new Temecula Wellness Center. The challenge consists of a juice fast that began on February 4, 2013 and ends on the Grand Opening of the Wellness center on March 16. The recipe and wellness coaching allow Leah to make the drink in her home and restaurant kitchen.

Green Juice Ingredients – Leah has been drinking five glasses of Green Juice (a mixture of local, fresh ingredients such as celery, cucumber, parsley, ginger, spinach, lemon and kale) each day along with 120 ounces of water daily. The “Green Juice” is a recipe developed by Dr. Rondberg to provide maximum nutrition and energy. He calls it a wellness reboot.

Focused on energy and health, Dr. Rondberg launched Temecula Wellness Center’s four-station wellness circuit featuring Bioenergy Technique. For one of those much-needed breathers in which you do something for yourself, consider an escape of a different sort in Southern California’s wine country region at Temecula Wellness Center (temeculawellnesscenter.com). Great hotels abound nearby. Three favorites include Temecula Creek Inn, Pechanga Resort and South Coast Winery.
