During the 2013 summer season  20 water parks are open throughout the state from Northern California in Redding to San Diego's newest Aquatica, a remake of Soak City in Chula Vista and now owned by SeaWorld. The water parks are primarily open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend

The six beach regions that comprise approx. 1,000 miles of coastline are San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Central Coast, Bay Area and Northern California. If you love beaches you'll love to explore the coastal treasures that are great to see now when there are less crowds. As summer approaches and things heat up, you can't go wrong picking a vacation spot at any of the great destinations.

California Food Festivals continue every month but in the spring California amps it up with holidays galore.  From Easter to Memorial Day there's Mother's Day, Spring Break, home tours, Italian and Greek festivals, kite festivals and so much more.
