During the 2013 summer season  20 water parks are open throughout the state from Northern California in Redding to San Diego's newest Aquatica, a remake of Soak City in Chula Vista and now owned by SeaWorld. The water parks are primarily open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend
