California is the top producer of many of the nation’s foods ranging from milk and dairy to nuts and grapes. It’s only fitting that we celebrate the harvest and enjoy the bounty that makes this state so special. To date, we’ve found 32 harvest festivals taking place this Fall throughout the state. The majority of events occur in October but there are actually harvest festivals nearly every weekend through early November.  The festivals typically take place outdoors with farm-centric fun such as tractors, hay, horses, produce and hands-on activities for all ages. However, there are also shopping harvest festivals and wine harvest festivals geared toward adults.
