If you’re looking for pre-summer concerts to get you moving, yesterday we mentioned the gospel music scene that’s happening around California. That’s one option, but here are weekend festivals that will get you jumpin’, bumpin’ and jivin’.

• 1. VACAVILLE: Cowtown Country & Western Music Festival April 11 & 12, 2014. This free, third annual music event features seven C&W bands performing at the Downtown Plaza. Shown in left photo above is Rachael Steele and Road 88, performing on Saturday.
• 2. OAKHURST: Fresno Flats Ragtime & Vintage Festival April 12-13 2014.  This 14th annual  event features internationally recognized performers: Jack & Chris Bradshaw and Tom Brier (middle photo).
