La Quinta Glass Art Splendor

A new event to launch the famed La Quinta Arts Foundation’s (lqaf.com) 33rd season features glass pumpkins, gourds and more displayed at Jackalope Ranch on Oct. 18 & 19, 2014. The public is invited to this free Splendor in the Glass event featuring the works of artisans Walker & Bowes. Guests can purchase art objects during the two day festival of glass and get a chance to meet Bobby Bowes. Walker & Bowes glass exhibitions include a piece in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Glass pumpkin patches and shows abound in California from the cool & foggy Bay Area to the dry, hot desert of Southern California.
