Head to Watsonville (the affordable neighbor of Carmel & Monterey) where the annual Watsonville Factory Sale takes place the first Saturday in December, featuring savings on items ranging from Martinelli’s sparkling cider to Annieglass (art for the table) plus wines, photo equipment, hats, shoes, art, gifts and more! The event is December 6, 2014, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. While visiting, After shopping, head over to the Santa Cruz harbor for the Santa Cruz lighted boat parade on Saturday evening. Both events are free to see.
