Did someone take away your crayons? Just because you grew up it doesn’t mean that you can’t still have fun. Last year tomato battles were all the rage. This year mud challenges are doing OK, but color festivals continue to to entertain in a big way.  In a spark of genius, somebody got the bright idea to combine a 5K run with a color festival and the results have been magic! How long will “color” runs last till everyone gets bored and looks for the next, new fun thing?  Probably not long. The trend we’re seeing is an increase in themed music festivals, beer-food-wine festivals, art festivals and an increase in festivals and events by lesser known destinations hoping they can attract tourists.

Here are several weekend color festivals–have fun!
