Did you visit a fair this year? If not, there are just a few chances left! For unadulterated fun this weekend head for the BIG Fresno Fair, one of the last county fairs of the season and calendar year. From November to February there are virtually no county fairs in California to attend, though local fairs may take place during that time. Even though the focus is fun — carnival rides, concerts, entertainment and games — they are one of California’s best public relations promotions for agriculture in the state. In fact, California Department of Food & Agriculture operates the Fairs & Expositions Division with the goal of providing rules and regulations to ensure California’s 77 fairs offer education, equitable competition and maximize exhibitor and public safety, according to their stated goals.
LAST CHANCE TO SEE A FAIR!
