Wildly Popular Holiday Trains

Oh you better watch out — I’m telling you why — tickets to California’s holiday train rides are selling fast (and of course, Santa Claus is coming to town.) Pictured is Roaring Camp Railroads Holiday Lights Train which departs Santa Cruz Boardwalk, transporting guests throughout the town singing holiday songs, sipping cider and giving kids quality time with Santa. Roaring Camp also offers a daytime Bear Mountain steam train ride and holiday walk, and a Chanukah Train.

- FREMONT & SUNOL: Niles Canyon Railway Train of Lights — 20,000 seats sold out in 2 days! According to the president of this all volunteer operation, if they had more volunteers they could consider offering more train rides for the holidays but as of now, 2016 is sold out.
