Butterflies, Bubbles and Bees

BUTTERFLIES
- It’s a jungle out there! Literally! At San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park the jungle-like atmosphere is part of the excitement. Through April 23, 2017 a special treat, the annual Butterfly Jungle allows guests to get up close and personal with some special butterfly guests.
BUBBLES
- Have you seen bubbles so big you can stand inside them? If not, you still can catch the amazing bubble artistry at Discovery Science Museum’s annual Bubblefest which runs through April 16. See the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show and witness art in motion as bubble scientist Deni Yang performs tricks and stunts with smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles, and a laser light show.
BEES
- Worth their weight in gold, bees are critical to California’s almonds, walnuts and other valuable crops. Sonoma County farmers celebrate them at the annual Blossoms, Bees and Barnyard Babies farm trails event April 29-30.
