The Super Blue Blood Moon treated sky gazers to a show this week, and Californians have had another treat, experiencing some awesome sunsets over the blue Pacific. Pictured is a view of the setting sun over Catalina Island, seen from Huntington Beach Pier.
The Orange County beach town is hopping with thousands of (around 20,000) tourists staying in hotels, and catching sunsets as they do their trial runs along the paved beach path for the annual Surf City Marathon on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. We previously posted a list of dozens of Super Bowl runs in California. Catch one if you can but definitely see the sunsets, wherever you are!
