Forget the traditional definition of the word WEIRD and head for the urban dictionary for an explanation: it’s someone who isn’t afraid to be themselves; person who likes to be humorous and make people laugh; people who like to have a good time. Sometimes weird people are the BEST kinda people.

San Francisco’s 19th annual How Weird Festival on May 6, 2018, is held in California’s weirdest place, no doubt, and this year it’s about The Disco Ball Inferno. Harken to a time of bellbottoms and big collars. A time of big cars and bigger hair. A time when lava lamps lit the land, and rocks were pets. Remember when fun was really fun?

Among the entertainment this year is a parade, thousands of people in colorful costumes, 10 stages of world class boogie, peace, love and magic.
