If you’d like to sing a song and sail along the silver sky like the 5th Dimension did in their 1967 hit, the Burney Heritage Balloon Festival May 10-13, 2018 launches with a unique opportunity. They’re hosting a Golf Ball Drop at Joe Bruce Sports Complex $5 per ball. Winner receives a balloon ride.
Hot air balloon rides are year-round attractions you’ll find in places such as Santa Rosa where you can book a ride on Above the Wine Country. Among the many wine-centric destinations throughout the state, we’ve taken high-flying rides on A Grape Escape, and California Dreamin‘, both located in Southern California’s Temecula wine region. To put it mildly, they were a “blast.” You usually get to enjoy a champagne toast or wine beverage as part of the package, and it makes for a really special way to see the vineyards spread across the land. It’s great for romantics, but is also fun for friends and family.
