This weekend one of the most spectacular air shows in the nation takes flight above the skies of San Francisco. Roaring past the Golden Gate Bridge and over the bay are amazing dare-devil stunt pilots, such as the elite U.S. Navy Blue Angels, who perform aerial displays. What sets this incredible show apart from most others is San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show includes military ship tours, and a variety of events on land, the sea and in the air. Most events take place Oct.5-7, 2018, with the weekend performances the highlight of this annual, free extravaganza.

Just two weeks later on Oct.19-21 the The Great Pacific Air Show in Huntington Beach carves its incredible path into the hearts and minds of those who watch free aerial displays above Southern California’s famed beaches. Highlights include U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flying Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons in yet, another free air show! How lucky can one state be!

While there are dozens of airshows in California throughout the year, annual favorites already booked for their 2019 return are the Blue Angels, providing awesome entertainment with appearances at 6 events in El Centro, Salinas, Lemoore, Miramar, Sacramento and San Francisco.

Californians who tend to be nonplussed when it comes to air traffic still get a thrill out of watching a great show!
