Beer: Because We’re Humboldt Hoppy!

In Humboldt County they are getting ready for Hops in Humboldt. The fine, annual tradition not only raises needed funds for non-profit organizations in the county, it also offers one of the best summertime traditions. And that’s why everyone gets “hoppy”. They are not alone way up in the north woods of the California coast, however. It seems that kind-hearted, fun-loving people throughout the state are getting hoppy, too!

One of the best seasons and reasons to celebrate beer, brews and hops is late Summer through Fall. Oktoberfest is just around the bend with icy mugs, great German grub, and those cute little dindl skirts and lederhosen — leather halter-shorts worn with knee socks and a feather in your hat.
