California is a tourist destination welcoming millions of migrating birds each year. The hospitality mat has shrunk with large swaths of lakes and land developed for human purposes. Get up to speed about birds this year by visiting a bird festival or event. Find out the names of birds visiting your area, how far they fly during their trips and why local resources are so vital to their health. Although birds don’t pay bed taxes for spending the night, savvy marketers have turned bird migrations into sources of revenue through lodgings & accommodations for human guests!
