California Chalk Art and Street Paint Festivals Taking it to the Streets

This weekend a tasty Chocolate and Chalk Art Festival in Berkeley combines the love of desserts with art, taking it to the streets in an annual event in the “Gourmet Ghetto”.
Coming from the traditions of the Italian street painters and artists of centuries past, California takes its cue, producing fantastic street events throughout the year. Upcoming festivals include these, or see additional festivals through the summer and fall.
