California Food and Wine Festivals

The wine craze has hit nearly every city and town in California and wine festivals bring together a variety of wines for you to sample, often for one admission price. Wine is nothing new in a state that ranks top producer & consumer of wine in the U.S., with more than 2,850 registered wineries and 4,600 winegrape growers. What’s new is the number of non-profit groups discovering they can earn more money to help balance their budgets through wine festivals. The wines are usually donated to the cause as is the food.
