If you wander down nearly any urban pier in California somebody will be singing religious tunes. Music is one of the most popular media for delivering messages of faith and you won’t just find religion on a public beach. At House of Blues in Anaheim and San Diego there are regularly schedule Gospel Music Brunches on select Sundays. They have been so popular that HOB has offered them for several years. Though there are many gospel groups performing in California there are only a few gospel festivals. The good news for gospel fans is that the fests are spread throughout the state in Turlock, Visalia, Yorba Linda, Del Mar and San Pedro. Here’s the schedule.
