California State Fair

It’s here — the California State Fair — in Sacramento July 8-24.What makes this fair different? In the California Counties exhibit the beauty of the Napa Valley Vineyards three feet from the Hollywood sign showcases the best commodities and landscapes of each California county. Other exhibits include California forests, California authors, and California on the Move: Air, Land and Sea, where you can see how transportation has shaped industry, culture, technology and innovation.
Here are fair attractions and events!
- Concerts include Styx, The Pointer Sisters, Dwight Yoakam and popular acts.
- Sports include high diving, horse racing, rugby, motocross and California State Cornhole Chambpionship.
- 4 special days feature $2 tastes — July 13, 14, 20 and 21.
- Best of California Brewfest is July 16, and Rolling Beer Garden offered daily.
- Classic Car Show each day features a different car club.
- Free cupcakes on July 12 honor Poppy’s birthday!
