California Summer Movies in the Park

Summer nights are the perfect time to take the family out to see a movie in the park. The biggest outdoor film event in California, Old Pasadena Film Festival, features 23 screenings paying tribute in 2014 to vintage horror and science fiction films.  Select screenings in Central Park highlight Vincent Price iconic pictures, but that’s a small sampling of the options available throughout the state!

Other cities offering movies in the park include Agoura Hills, Alameda, Burlingame, Dublin, Irvine, Long Beach, Monrovia, Murrieta, Newark, Oakdale, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, Ripon, Riverside, Roseville, San Diego, Santa Maria, Ukiah, Visalia, Vista and West Covina.  The most popular movies this year include FROZEN, Despicable Me 2, and Monsters University, all created to entertain the young and young at heart.
