Trash Talk

  • It’s OK to call us garbage men or garbage women.
  • 99% of U.S. garbage collectors are men.
  • These are not jobs for the faint-hearted.
  • The unholy odor!
  • Cheap bags stink. Don’t be afraid to double bag it in hot weather.
  • This is not your father’s garbage man’s truck.
  • Four types of trash trucks mostly in use today.
  • This is not a job of last resort. Trash collectors actually like and take pride in their work.
