California Whale Festivals 2012

Published on: January 30, 2012

There’s no bones about it, whale festivals aren’t boring events. Pictured is the Plastic Trash Zombies Dance 4 Oceans group performing the Michael Jackson Thriller dance in the dance troupe’s  signature costumes made of plastic trash!

All along the California coast from Mendocino to San Diego people are coming for the celebrations and festivals of the whales. You’ll have a whale of a good time as you learn about the many types of whales that live along or traverse the  California coast, visible from vantage points and beaches if you take the time to look (a good set of binoculars helps.)  The entertaining and educational whale events are huge and promise to offer hands-on fun to help you get into the spirit of learning about the water world in which 75% of life dwells.
