If you’re willing to travel and explore the state of California there’s a wine festival for nearly every weekend. With over 100 AVAs (American Viticulture Area)s, 2,843 wineries in California and 4,600 winegrape growers, it’s a quite a challenge to get to know all of them. Unless you make a living out of it, you probably can’t. That’s why wine festivals are a valuable tool for those who want to find quality wines but don’t have a lot of time.  Like wineries, wine festivals just keep growing. This weekend there’s one in Palm Desert,  next weekend you’ll find a fest in Santa Ynez and in April you can plan trips to Calistoga, Napa, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Pebble Beach, El Dorado, Dana Point, Los Angeles and Templeton to sample and savor the aromatic flavors of delicious wines. Here’s a list of wine festivals coming up!
