The latest in hotel experiences — The Hotel Pop-Up Suite!
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — In the heart of LA’s business and entertainment district expect the unexpected, all the way down to accommodations. From the 134-year old club that introduced urban camping pop-up Hotel At Los Angeles Athletic Club announces its second pop-up, Urban Castaway, based on the idea of an exotic and isolated ship-wrecked island.
The Castaway
- Living room lagoon features custom-made boat bed and imported island greenery
- Private master suite with plush canopied bamboo bed with softly glowing lanterns
- Fun island-inspired island survival kit featuring fresh fruit, coconut water, in room tropical cocktails and island treats like Pirates Booty
- Island movies including Blue Lagoon, Life of Pi, Soul Surfer and Castaway
- Optional Rescue’ helicopter ride whisks 2 guests off to Burbank Airport to avoid LA’s notorious traffic
- Overnight parking, American Buffet Breakfast, access to Invention Bar and Famous Players Restaurant as well as full use of the 80,000 square foot athletic facility
