Chalk it Up To Fun

This weekend the ultimate street festival takes place in San Luis Obispo on Sept. 26 & 27, 2015 in a chalk art event called Via Dei Colori SLO. Renamed from I Madonnari (The Madonna) based on the centuries-old Italian street art, the event has grown to include whimsical, contemporary themes as it amazes audiences of watchers.
The fun doesn’t stop in San Luis Obispo, however. Carlsbad, Calif. this weekend is also celebrating a chalk art event called Carlsbad Art Splash on Sept. 26-27, 2015.
