Every day is Christmas in California! When you stand at Christmas Cove beach and look through the keyhole formed by rocks, you can soak up a lush winter scene on a warm December day. Dancing palms, brilliant, red bougainvillea draped over the hillsides, and ice plant as green as mistletoe form the holiday setting to put you in the mood. If you could wrap this Christmas scene in a package and tie it with a big red bow, you’d delight plenty of loved ones on your gift list this holiday!

California celebrates Christmas year-round in cities far and wide that have holiday-themed names. Reindeer Road, Santa Claus Lane, Mistletoe Avenue and Holiday Street are a few you’ll find. For a Christmas beach vacation, this lovely setting in the photo takes place at a public beach beneath the hill-top Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. If the accommodations seem a little steep, just ease on down the road to over 20 nearby hotels.
