If yellow’s your thing, you may be a candidate for Daffodil Daydreams. It happens every year near Spring. Daffodils are weather dependent, which makes viewing them a wait-and-see game in places such as Volcano’s Daffodil Hill. The owners of the farm where up to a million daffodils have grown recently posted an update on Feb.13, 2018 and said this:

“Daffodil Hill is at 3000 ft elevation and we are not quite ready for visitors. If the weather continues we could possibly open earlier than usual.” Updates: facebook.com/DaffodilHill

At Filoli Gardens in Woodside the show goes on — and even when the daffodils are less abundant than years past, the immaculate gardens and fabulous estate are well worth the trip to look-see.
