Published on: September 06, 2015

The Eastern Sierras are just starting to transform and begin the fall foliage display according to Mono County Tourism. This is great news for photographers and travelers hoping to see this year’s fall foliage. TIP: Color intensity of leaf color is determined by the air temperature and moisture. Warm, dry days and cool nights (under 45°F) mean brilliant colors; rainy days and warm nights result in less intense coloration. It looks like another spectacular year!
