Old Spanish Days Fiesta Santa Barbara

The first week in August 2018 is welcomed in Santa Barbara with the annual Old Spanish Days Fiesta, a festival which includes parades, mercados, art shows, dance shows, and tours of the historic Moorish-style Santa Barbara County Courthouse, along with the Queen of Missions, Mission Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara is known as the California Riviera for its charmed coastal ambiance, hotels and attractions — and to round out the perfect tourist experience are many unique festivals throughout the seasons. Among them are the Summer Solstice Festival, Street Painting Festival, French Festival, Earth Day Festival, culinary and wine festivals and Christmas holiday parades and celebrations.

Old Spanish Days is perfectly set in the Central Coast city known for its meandering red brick walkways and red-tile roof architecture. Here are this year’s highlights:
