CARLSBAD, CALIF. — You’ve heard of the saying, ‘give me some legroom’, but soon you’ll be hearing people say, ‘Give me Lego room’. There’s a new 250-room hotel on its way, following on the heels of the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa, to provide great places for families to stay on visits to the Legoland California. The theme park has grown its family, first with an aquarium, then a waterpark, and now a resort hotel to compliment the package and provide fun times for kids and kids at heart. The three-story hotel includes a pool and lounge area, patio, event space and buffet restaurant.

Kingdom themed rooms with LEGO models, Pirate or Adventure themes are based on three popular areas in LEGOLAND California. The hotel opens in the summer 2013, but is already taking reservations  (legoland.com or call 1-877 – LEGOLAND) for guests planning next summer vacations . There are vacation packages for stays starting May 2013 that include 2-day resort hopper tickets for 4 people, entrance into LEGOLAND California, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Water Park; breakfast for up to four people and early admission into the family theme park on both days.
