San Jose’s free outdoor summer pops &  symphonies are returning to the iconic lawns of SJSU campus with free parking and free admission. Among the highlights Maestro Peter Jaffee leads Symphonic Strings –popular classical works written for strings only, performed by the musicians of Symphony Silicon Valley. Composers will range from Tchaikovsky and Dvorak to Takemitsu, Grieg and Copland.

Not far away in Silicon Valley is a summer full of musical entertainment in Redwood City. Music on the Square launched last week with well known jazz musician Pete Escovedo.  Redwood City has not one, but three concert series: Music on the Square, Sounds of the Shore and Music in the Park, providing more than 20 free concerts this summer!
