While July means many things to different people, we at SeeCalifornia.com always thinks of Gilroy Garlic Festival, one of the best-attended, most popular food events in the State of California. Usually held the last weekend in July, this year you’ll find Gourmet Alley, chef demos, Garlic BBQ challenge and the new Garlic Chef Jr. contest for kids. There are dozens of bands performing, food tastes such as garlic ice cream, and activities for all ages.

  • Outperforms some drugs in reducing effects of heavy metal toxicity

Not all garlic is the same!

  • Is doused in chemicals to stop sprouting
  • Chemicals to whiten garlic
  • Chemicals to kill insects and plant matter
