This weekend one of the best, free bluegrass festivals in the nation takes place in Temecula. Throughout the streets of Old Town Temecula bluegrass bands perform toe-tapping tunes. Central Valley Boys and Bluegrass Etc. are two of the acts, along with popular Sligo Rags. In Temecula the temperature is expected to be sunny & 78 degrees for the two day event March 21-22, 2015. In contrast, North Lake Tahoe’s WinterWonderGrass Music & Brew Festival March 20-22, 2015 is serving up 54-degree weather and an Indie music groove with 19 bands, including Trampled by Turtles and Head for the Hills. Unlike the warm & sunny SoCal festival, this chilly NorCal snow resort event is NOT free. The two music festivals may seem world’s apart but they’re really about 475 miles and 8 hours by car from each other. Here’s more info on the concerts…>
