If you like looking at houses it’s cheaper to go to an open house (home for sale) than a home tour where you pay $10, $25, $50 or more to see homes and gardens. Home tours are more of a social thing where you might get a bite to eat, a beverage, a raffle ticket for a prize, or similar perks while your ticket price helps some cause.  The types of tours vary from city to city. In San Francisco, Venice and Los Angeles they’re mostly designer showcase conversation pieces. In Beverly Hills the home tour invites you into Virginia Robinson Estate, while in Riverside and Corona still-standing 19th and early 20th century homes offer glimpses into Old World craftsmanship. What would you expect to see in Napa? Their home tour is called Kitchens in the Vineyards.

We’ve compiled a list of 25 Home Tours:

  • March: Coronado, Del Mar
  • April: Chino Hills, Riverside, Mar Vista, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Napa, Palos Verdes, Venice, Santa Ana, Pasadena, Fullerton
  • May: Sacramento, L.A., Laguna Beach, Corona, Healdsburg, Tustin, Sonoma, Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, Riverside, Rossmoor, Santa Barbara, Long Beach, San Clemente
  • June: San Diego, Big Bear Lake
