Italian Circus in Redwood City
So much negativity has been tied to several circus productions, but there’s a family affair that Redwood City proudly “hangs its hat on” and hosts in the Bay Area. Zoppe Italian Family Circus returns for its 7th year October 10-26, 2014, featuring the 7th generation of proud performers who delight all ages, especially kids! Animals and children in the acts are family members–the dogs & horses are pets, and the children absolutely love the attention and audience applause as they perform acrobatics they have learned from their circus parents. Adorable Julian (right photo) was actually born in Redwood City during a previous circus season and has a fan base. Many return each year to see how the baby has grown and matured into a boy. Truly the apple of his father’s eye, Julian takes his cues from Giovanni Zoppé (Nino the Clown,) who is more than his dad–he’s funny and fun to be with! The limited engagement circus is a great outing for all ages!
