LA Free Museum Day

Pictured is one of the most fabulous, free museums in the world. In fact, it’s on the international travelers’ must-see list. The Getty in Los Angeles and Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades are always free (parking fee charged) but on Sunday, January 29, 2017, you may want to check before going as the FREE L.A. MUSEUM DAY may impact availability and crowds. From La Brea Tar Pits Museum to Autry Museum of the American West, guests can save big bucks this Sunday. Los Angeles area offers quite a few free museum opportunities throughout the year (see socalmuseums.org). And, on February 4, the free-admission Sacramento Museum Day arrives.
