Weekend festivals in California celebrate flowers.
- In Idyllwild the Lemon Lily Festival (lemonlilyfestival.com) July 11 & 12, 2015 at Idyllwild Nature Center includes guided walks and activities for children, as well as plant sales. You can’t miss the yellow flower which is the color of lemon.
- In Downtown Paso Robles the Lavender Festival celebrates a plant that grows extremely well on the Central Coast areas just slightly inland. The event takes place at downtown City Park on July 11, 2015. pasoroblesdowntown.org
- In Santa Barbara’s Lotus Land on July 11, 2015 see reflecting ponds filled with delicate looking flowers.
