The last weekend in April is filled with lots & lots of music. From the popular Stagecoach Festival in Indio to the free Adams Avenue Unplugged in San Diego, music offers a great escape to get you out of your routine, mixing with the masses in experiences ranging from desert-cactus scenes to cool, sandy beaches. Here are just a few fantastic concerts to close out the month of April 2019!
Stagecoach Festival April 26-28, 2019, 12 p.m. at Empire Polo Club in Indio. Mix & mingle, drink beer and sing country with 150,000 of your closest buddies. Lynyrd Skynyrd is among headliners.
Do It Yourself Fest April 26-28 at Camp Krem in Boulder Creek features acts such as the Fruit Bats, Rainbow Girls and Alcatraz Islanders.
Back to the Beach on Huntington State Beach April 27-28 features a full cocktail bar, beer, Lil’ Punk Kidzone (kids get in free with folks,) and retro bands such as blink-182.
FREE! The free Adams Avenue Unplugged April 27 features 24 stages and 84 live musical performances with acts such as David Lindley (of Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder bands.)
FREE! The Eclectic Music Festival April 27 is a free event in South Pasadena on multiple stages around town. Seems like there are about 50 performers (give or take some.)
Dymally International Jazz & Arts Festival April 27 at Dominguez Hills Tennis Stadium includes Gerald Albright, Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca. It’s co-sponsored by Rainbow Productions, known for its great jazz festivals.
