New Laws Cost Californians

930 new California laws that go into effect in 2015. Some will hurt the average guy’s wallet:

1. AB-32, designed to reduce California’s greenhouse gas emissions is expected to raise the cost of a gallon of gas from 15 cents per gallon to up to 75 cents.

2. Chicken cage law is expected to impact the price of eggs. As of January 1, 2015, anyone who wants to sell eggs in California will have to comply with new rules giving each bird 116 square inches of space. The industry standard is 67 square inches per bird.

3. AB-60, the illegal immigrant drivers license law, is expected to cost up to $220 million to implement.

4. Obamacare fees for uninsured rise in 2015 to 2% of income or up to $975 per family.
