Legends of Chima Water Park opens at Legoland California on May 24, 2014 as the second of two water parks. Both are included in the ticket price for admission to one water park. In preparation, a LEGO Lion Temple arch, the largest LEGO model (18 ½ feet high X 14 feet wide and weighing 2,116 pounds,) was installed recently as part of the theme park’s effort to gear up for summer with more attractions and fun.  Made out of 260,000 LEGO bricks, the arch, which streams water beneath the massive lion head at the entrance to the Lion Temple Wave Pool, is designed for families with young children. In front of the floating, 23-feet tall Mt. Cavora, the giant LEGO model releases 400 gallons of water every minute above the wave pool.  Here is ticket information.
