BBQ ribs ‘n chicken in a hot competition of pitmasters from all over California, 40 acts on 4 stages (including more than 25 bands and music groups,) and the famous, flying Bandaloop are a few highlights to the Oakland Art+ Soul festival August 2-3, 2014. Now in its 14th year, the street festival that takes place on 10 city blocks features incredible talent at an affordable price. 2014 Grammy winner, Pacific Mambo Orchestra, is among the stage acts in this two day extravaganza of music, dancing, entertainment and food sponsored by the City of Oakland in association with the East Bay Express. The event touts the easiest access and largest Family Fun Zone of any festival in the Bay Area. General admission is $10.
