Flashes From the Past

There’s one thing we can be thankful for…that cameras were around 50 years ago to capture American lifestyle. If these images seem familiar, then you may remember The Red Skelton Show (1951-1971), Art Linkletter’s” kids say the darndest things”, and Italian mouse Topo Gigio made famous on the Ed Sullivan Show. The California King of Retro, Charles Phoenix, has amassed a huge collection of photographic images that he shares at comedy presentations. In December 2013 he’s appearing in Long Beach on Dec 7, San Francisco Dec 13, Brea Dec 15, Palm Springs Dec 20 and Los Angeles on December 22.
