Oldest Courthouses in California

Mariposa County Courthouse  is the oldest courthouse in continuous use west of the Rockies. It was constructed in 1854 in early Greek Revival style, and is listed as No. 670 California Historical Landmark. Visitors can tour the historic courthouse and see some original antiques.  Read more>

The 2nd oldest courthouse in California is in Weaverville, the county seat of Trinity County.
