See 80,000 Poinsettias on Flower Tour

Take Museum’s Holiday Nursery Tour To See 80,000 Poinsettias!

CENTRAL COAST, CALIF. — Do you want to see something really spectacular? Tour a Santa Paula wholesale nursery to see more than 80,000 blooming poinsettias and 100,000 cyclamen. What a spectacle to get you in the holiday mood!  The public is invited to take a special behind-the-scenes tour on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10 a.m. Advance reservations and pre-payment to the Museum of Ventura County Agriculture Museum are required, as space is limited on the one-hour tour of DoRight’s Flower Growers. Directions are given when reservations are made to (805) 525-3100. Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for museum members, and includes free entry that same day to the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula.

Located at 926 Railroad Avenue near the Depot and next to the railroad tracks in historic downtown, you can visit the museum any time, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Admission is $4 adults, $3 seniors, $1 children 6-17, free ages 5 and younger. On first Sunday of each month general admission is free.  See venturamuseum.org or call (805) 525-3100.
