While it has been several years since pole sports sought entry into the Olympic Games there’s been a lot pole tension during that time. The world governing body, International Pole Sports Federation, has gotten one step closer to the Olympics and at the same time booted its biggest member, the United States Pole Sports Federation (USPSF) out on Feb. 8, 2016 for “ongoing unresolved infringements of rules and regulations with a lack of resolution.” Competitors in California, Pacific Region and U.S. are have been informed that “Alternative emergency measures have been put into place for Elite athletes to qualify for the World Pole Championships 2016.”
