The Captain’s armada of ghosts set sail at Queen Mary Dark Harbor in Long Beach

If ghosts bother you, the Queen Mary can be creepy enough. But when Dark Harbor unveils the darker side of the haunted ship, prepare yourself!  New in 2013 was Circus, a maze filled with disorienting illusions and circus wonders never before imagined. It included a Freak Show ($1 extra) and vintage Ferris Wheel ($3 ride.) Returning from previous year were Deadrise, Submerged, Hellfire, Village of the Damned and Containment that take place outdoors and indoors on the ship. Themed areas utilized the ship’s history and reports of ghosts such as Mary, who actually drowned on board the ship,  in an experience that was frightfully fun. Each year tickets are on sale, see queenmary.com. Here is a video of people walking into a maze!
