CARLSBAD, CALIF.–For those looking to entertain the youngsters in a stimulating atmosphere this 4th of July, Legoland Carlsbad fits the bill. The world’s largest LEGO model, Lego Star Wars X-wing Starfighter, recently traveled more than 2,800 miles from New York City’s Times Square and is on display on Independence Day. It will be in the California theme park through December 2013. On the 4th of July there are many fun things to see and do, and all are family-friendly. Capping a day of exciting games, rides and attractions is Red, White and BOOM, a fantastic fireworks show which starts at 8:30 p.m. Included in the cost of admission to LEGOLAND California, it is a special event that people return to see year after year.
