Reggae on the River Brings Back Lazy Days of Summer

GARBERVILLE, CALIF.–Lazin’ on a raft surrounded by giant redwoods kind of makes you feel like a kid again.  The annual Reggae on the River (reggaeontheriver.com) at Benbow Lake State Recreation Area is all about relaxing and groving to the music. The music will definitely move you into relax mode at the premier reggae music festival that runs July 31-August 3, 2014.

Headlining the event is famed reggae band Toots and the Maytals, one of the best known ska and reggae vocal groups in existence. Featured are dozens of reggae bands, an awe-inspiring atmosphere among the world’s tallest redwoods, camping, dancing, music, good food, and good times.
